Tokyo
We start the tour in the capital, where we experience big city life and visit areas such as Shibuya and Shinjuku.
Along the way, we meet Norwegian Julie and get an insight into what it's like to live and study in Tokyo. We also visit the digital art museum teamLab and go to a karaoke bar in true Japanese style.
Hiroshima
From Tokyo we travel on by express train to Hiroshima.
Here we gain insight into the history of the atomic bomb during World War II. The stay ends with a visit to Naoshima, an island known for art and nature.
Kyoto
We travel on to Kyoto, where we experience Japanese traditions through temple visits and a tea ceremony.
We also explore the city's famous food culture, with everything from traditional dishes to street food. During our stay, we go on a day trip to Osaka with a visit to Universal Studios, one of Asia's largest theme parks.
Towards the end of the trip, we return to Tokyo for one last evening before returning home.
