Niterói, Clube Naval
The tour starts in Niterói, where we visit a favela and have dinner with a local family. On the beach we play soccer and beach volleyball against local youth.
We meet with students at an elementary school and give capoeira lessons. In addition, we organize our own tournament, “Copa de Brasil”, with various sports activities.
We also visit an art museum and the Abrigo maternity home.
Rio, Copacabana/Ipanema
We then head to Rio de Janeiro, where we will get to know the city through a city tour. We will go to a football match at the iconic Maracanã and visit the Selarón Steps and the Museum of Tomorrow.
Days are spent along the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, with activities such as surfing and beach volleyball.
We also go on trips to Pedra Bonita and Sugarloaf Mountain, and experience the city with samba, concerts and boat trips.
Big Island
The trip ends on Ilha Grande, where the days are all about being out in nature, with activities like snorkeling and fishing.
Here we have time to calm down and reflect on the experiences from the trip.
