Brazil 2026
Niterói, Clube Naval (3-5 Nov)
We visit a favela and have dinner with a local family. On the beach we play soccer at sunset against local youths, and also try beach volleyball.
We meet students at a primary school and receive capoeira lessons from the children. In addition, we compete in our own annual tournament, “Copa de Brasil”, with various sports activities at the hotel – such as beach volleyball, tennis, football, swimming, basketball and footvolley.
We also visit an art museum and the Abrigo mothers' home, which gives a new start to women and children who have experienced violence.
Rio, Copacabana/Ipanema (5-8 Nov)
In Rio de Janeiro we experience iconic Brazil. We go to a football match at Maracanã, get to know the city through a city tour and visit the Selarón Steps and the Museum of Tomorrow, among other things.
The days are filled with activity along the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, with surfing, beach volleyball and sunrise yoga.
We go on mountain hikes to Pedra Bonita and Sugarloaf Mountain, experience samba and concerts, and get to know city life better through, among other things, a favela tour and boat trip.
Ilha Grande (9–11 Nov)
On Ilha Grande, the days are all about being out in nature, with snorkeling, fishing and local food like açaí.
We get time to calm down, be present and reflect on the experiences from the trip.
