EU/EEA

Please read the important information in this drop-down menu.

All international students (regardless of citizenship) must have a contact person with a Norwegian address. This person could be a relative, a family friend or someone else who knows you. Your contact person will

- be like your next of kin if needed.
- throughout the year receive e-mails from the school with information in Norwegian.
- be able to host you during the four school holidays (Autumn, Christmas, Winter and Easter breaks) when the school is closed, unless you wish to stay elsewhere.
-be able to assist you in required processes such as opening a Norwegian bank account, getting a Norwegian sim card etc.
- be ready to host you in case of expulsion or any other reason that means you cannot stay in the school dormitories

All students are covered by the school's insurance from the moment they leave their home address in their home country to travel directly to the school until they return to their home after the school year directly from the school to their home address.

In addition you need a European health insurance card or private health insurance.

As an EU/EEA national you no longer need to apply for a study permit ahead of arriving in Norway. However, you must register with Norwegian authorities no later than three months after arriving in Norway. We kindly ask that you do your best to schedule this appointment for Friday in the pre course week.
