On this line you have weekly dance classes in both hip hop and street dance, and contemporary dance. You get to develop technique and expression, and create your own choreographies. During the year we have project weeks where you learn to create performances - also in collaboration with other disciplines. With us you get to work on technical skills, while exploring improvisation, freestyle and the joy of creation. This way you become a more confident dancer with your own unique expression.

Teaching takes place through weekly dance classes with the school's teachers and current guest teachers. You will work on choreographic tasks alone, and in collaboration with others. We explore movement in group work, on the line and together with other disciplines. In addition, we travel to dance performances, visit educational institutions, go to dance classes in the city and to battles to gain inspiration and experience from the professional environment.
We benefit greatly from being based in Oslo. We have dance classes from exciting guest teachers and go to dance classes outside of school as well. We go to dance performances and visit places like Subsdans, Dansens Hus, The Norwegian Opera and Ballet, and various educational institutions. Through various visits you will get to know other young dancers and become part of an urban and professional dance environment.
Linja is suitable for anyone interested in developing as a dancer. There is room for those with a lot of experience, and for those who are new. We challenge everyone at their own level and provide lessons that are suitable for everyone.

Julie has a bachelor's degree in dance with a specialization in contemporary dance, postgraduate training from Dance New Amsterdam in New York, and a basic education in medicine. Over the years, she has taught at several ballet schools in Oslo and Akershus, and has given courses in contemporary dance at the Norwegian Opera and Ballet. She has broad insight into different methods in order to meet dancers with different backgrounds and skill levels.
In addition to dance, Julie is passionate about climbing, crocheting and snowboarding – interests she shares with her students through electives. Julie is committed to creating an environment where you can work purposefully and develop skills, while having fun, exploring your creativity and challenging yourself.
Anne has a three-year college degree in dance and cultural communication. She has spent extended periods in New York and Paris to study street and club dance culture. Anne is active in the street dance community and regularly participates in jams and battles in Norway and abroad. As part of MUD Session Oslo, she also works to promote club dance culture in Oslo through open trainings, jams and club nights.
As a dancer, she wants to open up the spaces that street dance can occupy, and what and who is defined as dance art(s). In a country where we are in many ways distanced from the body, she is interested in what the direct and social approach of street dance can add to our culture - a perspective she brings to her teaching.
