Welcome to Oslo's largest collective!
Here you get the best of a collective life! With modern rooms and meals served every day. At our boarding houses you share rooms and hallways with students from different streams, which gives you a good opportunity to get to know people outside your class. This way we build relationships across interests and learn to live together.
Living in a boarding school
At our dormitories you will find single rooms, double rooms and a few triple rooms. Most people live in a double room with a fellow student. The room becomes a place to retreat and a place for good conversations, relaxation and everyday coziness. Every week we gather on the floor to talk about how we live together – and other topics that help us get to know each other better and feel more secure.
Each room is furnished and ready to move in:
Furniture: Cabinets, shoe racks, bookshelves, bedside tables, desk and chair.
Bed: 90 cm wide bed with mattress topper, duvet and pillow.
Bathroom: Most rooms have private bathrooms, while some share bathrooms in small units.
On each floor, students have access to their own common areas:
Student lounge: With TV, sofa and a cozy living area.
Kitchen: Students have the opportunity to use the kitchen with an oven, hob, kettle, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator.
Luggage room: Separate room on the floor for storing suitcases, etc.
Laundry room: Washing machine and dryer, plus access to a separate drying room.
We have a limited number of single rooms. These are initially reserved for students who need to live alone for health reasons. Single rooms will have an additional cost of NOK 7,000-12,000 per year depending on the room type. Documentation must be provided to be considered for a single room. This is sent to the dormitory manager in advance of the school year.

As a student with us, all meals are included. Our kitchen serves varied, nutritious food and bakes our own bread.
We provide lactose- and gluten-free diets, as well as vegetarian and vegan options.
We do not charge extra for accommodations, but you must be able to provide documentation from a doctor if you require a lactose-free or gluten-free diet. Documentation will be sent to the school before the start of school.
Unfortunately we cannot offer halal. For those who do not eat pork for religious reasons, an alternative is always served.
